| title: | video capture device with support for audio |
|
Hi!
Im in a need of an USB video capture device with support for audio. I have
found the Belkin USB VideoBus II
catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Merchant_Id=&Section_Id=199&pcount=&Product_Id=103844&Section.Section_Path=%2FUSB%2FMultimed%2E%2E%2Eeyboards%2F# catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Merchant_Id=&Section_Id=199&pcount=&Product_Id=103844&Section.Section_Path=%2FUSB%2FMultimed%2E%2E%2Eeyboards%2F#
but I cannot get the audio out of it. It seems that it is not using the
stardard usb audio interface. The developers of the usbvision are trying
to make it work, but without proper specs its not gonna work.
So I would like to find another device which is known to work under linux,
but I could not find any at the linux-usb.org or by googling.
Does anybody know of such a device?
I know that I could simply hook the audio to the soundcard of the machine,
but this would be an embedded system and I would not like to include a
soundcard in the machine.
Thanks for any advice
Zsolt
